Frankonia Eurobau welcomes Hamburger Abendblatt to Grosser Burstah
In spring 2015 the Hamburger Abendblatt daily newspaper and other titles published by Funke Media Group plc will be published from their new headquarters in FRANKONIA Eurobau’s Grosser Burstah. “We are delighted that the Hamburger Abendblatt has now moved closer to the City Hall“, said Mayor of Hamburg Olaf Scholz in an interview with the newspaper. At the beginning of the 20th century, Grosser Burstah was known as one of the most exclusive shopping streets in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Thanks to “BID (Business Improvement District) Nikolai-Quartier”, an urban renewal project initiated by the Hamburger Behörde für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt (Hamburg Authority for Urban Development and Environment), the area will regain the status it once had. FRANKONIA Eurobau’s Grosser Burstah development is an important milestone in this renewal process. The developer is investing around €100m in the project.
