Sophienterrassen receives double honours from the BDA (the Association of German Architects)

As part of the BDA (Association of German Architects) Hamburg ARCHITECTURE Prize 2014, the association has awarded two honours to the architects responsible for Sophienterrassen in Hamburg, a development by FRANKONIA Eurobau. The office complex “Campus Am Mittelweg”, which is at the edge of Sophienterrassen, was commended, as was the residential ensemble that makes up the development. The jury praised the quality of the planning and the building with respect to responsibility to society and the environment. The BDA Hamburg ARCHITECTURE Prize is awarded with the aim of honouring exemplary building in greater Hamburg. This was the eight-year of the competition. The award-winning projects will be shown in an exhibition in the offices of the BDA Hamburg (6 Shanghaiallee, 20457 Hamburg) from 2 to 27 February.
