The district of Harvestehude is still a top residential area in Hamburg. This is according to Focus magazine’s Property Atlas 2015, the latest issue in the Special series. The report goes on to confirm that: “Harvestehuder Weg is still the most exclusive street in Hamburg”.

Harvestehude is characterised by a wealth of elegant villas built from about 1870 onwards, first in historicist style and then in Art Nouveau. To live in one of these villas, is, according to the Property Atlas 2015, “the Hanseatic dream in stone”. In addition to its architectural treasures, two parks and the popular weekly market also contribute to Harvestehude’s consistently good image.
